Sandra Brown of Holbrook, PA guides us through the design steps addressing the challenge for the upcoming Morgan County Fair and the challenge theme “Show 3-D in our 2-D media: Quilts and Hooked Rugs”. Using slides and rugs, Brown illustrated how we can fool the viewer to look deeply into our work by using values, textures, shapes, color and repetitive patterning to add dimension.
